Restoration of a Vintage Mills One Arm Bandit

Restoration of a Vintage Mills One Arm Bandit

When we got this machine it was Canary yellow (yes, bright, Canary yellow). It was in bad shape. It was full of “bugs” (modifications to the mechanism), which meant it would never pay out. We restored the case, painstakingly repainted it and fixed the mechanism. We decided to leave the reels in original condition so that it would still have some patina.

We’ve managed to date this machine to somewhere between 1938 – 1945.

We hope you enjoy looking at it as much as we do!
